I have been obsessed with art, beauty and fashion since I was a little girl. Early on I got my start with a degree in fashion design. Working in television as a stylist is what inspired me to pursue make-up artistry which started my obsession with the beauty industry as a whole. Through my freelance make-up work and while working in salon spas and department stores with many talented artists and skincare professionals, and with some of best quality cosmetic and skincare lines on the market, I became involved with skin and beauty at an even deeper level. This inspired me to get my esthetics certificate in 2008. Since then I have mastered the art of waxing, threading, facials including, peels and microdermabrasion, as well as airbrush tanning and eyelash and eyebrow tinting. Semi permanent make-up and microblading was the next phase of development in my ever evolving beauty career. I was fortunate to apprentice under an experienced and established permanent make-up artist while in Florida and am excited to bring my skills to Boise Idaho.

Microblading is a semi-permanent procedure that uses a small sterile blade to create hair strokes with organic pigment. This creates a more natural looking brow then powders or pencils and takes the hastle out of having to fill them in. This is a wonderful service for anyone wanting fuller more defined brows and when performed correctly there is very little discomfort. This technique is more superficial then a tattoo so it lasts about a year and usually requires touch-ups. Generally the results are excellent but it depends on your skin texture, skincare routine, and sun exposure. This is not ideal for very oily skin types and large pores. Diabetics or those with thyroid issues are also not ideal because the pigment may not retain well. Microblading cannot be done on women pregnant or nursing. The healing lasts about a week. Color intensity is darker the first three days and will subside and become softer as the skin heals. This is a two step process and requires a second visit within the first twelve weeks to insure the perfection of your brows. Additional touch-ups are likely needed every six to eighteen months.
SofTap is a form of semi-permanent make-up using a handtool to gently implant pigment into the skin using a tapping motion. This method is very minimal discomfort, non invasive and highly controlled, giving a softer more natural dusted powder filled look to the brows, or it can create textured hair strokes to enhance and build the brows. For eyeliner, it creates a soft natural lash enhancement. The downtime is minimal and this treatment lasts six months to three years.
COMBO BROWS are created using both of these methods or techniques. Microblading with shading creates more depth to the brows and is a beautiful option for extremely sparse brows. Softap filled brows with soft hair strokes on the inner corner are a beautiful, bolder look for those wanting that sculpted brow appearance.
